Biting into Christmas

I’m not feeling very christmassy this year, but I did try to infuse some of the season’s spirit into lip art. Red and sparkly gold are a combination typical for the last month of the year.

In all my years of doing makeup, I strangely enough haven’t done many looks solely focusing on the lips. I wanted to experiment a bit and thought it would be fun to create some distressed glamour for the holidays.

I used a mix of red lipsticks as a base, lined and shaded my lips with black eyeshadow, and messily applied a liquid gold eyeshadow topped with gold glitter in the centre. Quite simple, but still dimensional. (Not very wearable, though! 😁)

Products used:

Golden Rose Lipstick (70)
Guerlain KissKiss Fabulous Rouge (531)
Bourjois Shimmering Shine Liquid Eyeshadow (31 Molecule D’Or)
Essence Glitter Dust (02 Angel’s Dust)
Catrice Absolute Eye Colour (140 The Captain Of The Black Pearl)
Vichy Dermablend Foundation (15 Opal)

Thank you for looking! 😊
